Make small changes: try HIIT or Mat Pilates | Blog by Lisa Walsh, Y Group Ex Instructor September 7, 2012

Fall is a time to reflect on the past and create a new beginning. As children return to school, we clean out the sand and organize the calendar for upcoming school events and parties. This is a great time of year to set some realistic fitness goals. Although most people set goals in numbers, such as a pant size or pounds to lose, it’s not attainable without considering the steps to get you there. Try to consider changing things about your health that are in your control such as eating more lean protein, increasing green veggies at just one meal, or attending a new fitness class.

Taking small positive steps to gain control of your health will benefit your cholesterol, energy, and sleep patterns. I’d like to invite you to try HIIT (Fridays at 1pm) or Mat Pilates (Sunday, 12:45)! I’m the instructor and I’d love to see you there!
