A Letter to Y Members from Tricia DiGiovanni, Senior Director of Membership Development October 3, 2011
In April 2011, Central Bucks Family YMCA completed the 2011 Membership Satisfaction Survey. The survey was distributed to over 2,500 email addresses of Central Bucks Family YMCA members, and of this quantity, 364 members responded.
Before sharing our response to the results, we must first extend our heartfelt gratitude to the 364 members who responded to the survey. Your feedback drives the decision making of our Y. We heard you, and are proud to move listening into action.
After the analysis of the 2011 membership satisfaction survey results, our three key areas of focus include:
1. Y Staff will improve friendliness, engagement, and support to members
2. Y Staff will increase communication systems; most especially in the areas of maintenance and programming
3. In support of all adults and families achieving a healthy lifestyle, Y Staff will offer member-driven programs and services, during convenient times, at no additional fee
We also have wonderful news to share in response to two areas of high suggestion. Effective immediately, Child Watch hours on Saturdays have been extended to 3pm. The extension of care is our first commitment of many in supporting working families in achieving a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
Last but not least, we are thrilled to announce the renovations of the Women’s Locker Room will begin late fall 2011! Backed by a task force committee of female members, board members, and staff; renovation details include all new tile, brand new lockers, more space for dressing, improved lighting, new vanity stations, more privacy changing stations, and so much more. The Women’s Locker Room is slated for completion by the New Year. Men’s Locker Room renovations are scheduled for 2012.
Again, thank you for responding to the 2011 membership satisfaction survey. With results in hand, we are fueled, committed, and eager to provide even more impactful programs and services that support all members, and the greater community in living a better, healthier, happier life.
Have we not met your expectations? Are you not making the progress you would have liked? If so, please call me directly at 215-348-8131 ext 1135. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to speak with you and to learn how we could better serve your needs.
Thank you for being a member of our Y family. There is so much more in store.
Yours in good health,
Tricia DiGiovanni
